Uniplyt Wood Products

It’s official! Uniplyt, LLC has been granted a Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC CoC, Forest Stewardship Council Chain-of-Custody Certificate). FSC chain-of-custody tracks FSC certified timber material through the whole process – from the forest to the consumer, including all stages of processing, transformation, manufacturing and distribution. Only FSC chain-of-custody certified operations are allowed to label products with the FSC trademarks.

The formal process of Chain-of-Custody Certification requires Uniplyt, LLC to follow specific procedures and protocol to ensure that FSC-Certified timber products, including fibreboard, plywood and sawn timber, are tracked and remain within the established “chain” from tree harvesting to the finished products. FSC® certification provides a credible link between responsible production and consumption of forest products, enabling consumers as well as businesses to make purchasing decisions that benefit people and the environment as well as providing ongoing business value.
